Asian clams
Each clam can release thousands of microscopic larvae (veligers) in the water, which can get into your watercraft or gear and be easily transported to new locations.
Asian clams burrow under the sand and can cause blooms of slimy green algae. They are filter-feeders who steal food from the fish and alter the ecosystem.
Clean, Drain, and Dry all watercraft and equipment. Be sure there is no water in your gear.
